FHP Request for Whitebark Pine Project Proposals (FY2023)

The U.S. Forest Service’s Forest Health Protection program is now accepting proposals for whitebark pine restoration projects. The funding is open to non-governmental organizations, universities, and state, tribal and federal agencies. FY2023 funding priorities are for on-the-ground restoration treatments (e.g., rust resistance, cone collections, planting rust-resistant seedlings).

Proposals are due by December 12, 2022. Please see the attached documents for a copy of the funding announcement, proposal template, budget sheet and progress report template. You also can view examples of past funded projects in the FHP Whitebark Pine Restoration Database. If you have any questions, please contact Christy Cleaver with Forest Health Protection.
