This year’s conference hosted by: Whitebark Pine Ecosystem Foundation, The Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes, Salish Kootenai College, and the Northern Rockies Fire Science Network
Preliminary Agenda
The first day of the conference (September 13) will take place at the Johnny Arlee Victor Charlo Theater on the Salish Kootenai College Campus and will feature presentations and panels on current and developing research, management, and cultural value of whitebark pine.
The second day (September 14) will feature a field trip to the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes Three Lakes Peak roadless area within the Flathead Indian Reservation.
The 4th Annual Crown of the Continent High 5 Working Group Meeting will precede the conference on Thursday, September 12, 2019, also at the Johnny Arlee Victor Charlo Theater in Pablo.
