The US Forest Service Forest Health Protection’s Whitebark Pine Restoration Program was initiated in 2006 following a range-wide health assessment that found this critical species to be declining dramatically throughout the West. The objective of this database is to provide detailed information on restoration projects funded by this program and evaluation of their outcome.
